Praxis is a creative engine for redemptive entrepreneurship, supporting founders, funders, and innovators motivated by their faith to renew culture and love their neighbors. Our community of practice operates through high-touch programs, robust content, and a global portfolio of redemptive business & nonprofit ventures.
Praxis Academy is our division focused on building a next-generation entrepreneurial community who are pursuing redemptive action in the midst of pressing issues in the world. Our flagship program is the Academy Week, where we annually gather top undergraduates and recent graduates from around the globe to learn from 30 leading practitioners of redemptive entrepreneurship and form friendships with like-minded peers.
If you received an invitation to join as our guest, we would be thrilled to welcome you to come and see any part of the week — we just ask that you register and let us know which sessions you think you will be attending no later than July 1.
We do highly recommend prioritizing the opening session on July 29 so that you can get the overall framework and language that we will be using throughout the rest of the gathering. Details on the schedule are below and the RSVP follows.

EVENT LOCATION, LODGING & GROUND TRANSPORTATION
All Academy Week events are held on the beautiful campus of Biola University, located in La Mirada, CA — 30 miles south of Los Angeles.
You have 2 options for lodging which we will ask about in your RSVP.
1. Campus Lodging (Included in your invitation)
Included in your invitation to join us is a room for on-campus housing in apartment style dorms. There are 2 rooms + 1 bathroom + common area in each dorm suite. Suites are booked with double occupancy, meaning that you have your own room, but would share a bathroom with another Guest (who would be in the other room inside of the suite).
Campus Lodging includes a clean set of linens, a pillow, and a towel. You should plan on bringing your own toiletries as well as additional items you may need such as a hairdryer, iron, etc..
If you plan to stay on campus, please let us know in your RSVP. We will follow up with details on how to check-in.
2. Hotel or Lodging On Your Own
You are of course more than welcome to stay off campus at your own expense and provide your own transportation to/from campus each day with this option.
If you are interested in a nearby hotel, we recommend the Sheraton Cerritos, located about a 10 minute drive from campus.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION & AIRPORT SHUTTLES
Included in your invitation is a seat on a shuttle from Los Angeles International (LAX) Airport to Biola on Monday and another from Biola to LAX at the conclusion of the event on Friday. If you would like to take advantage of the shuttles, you will need to book your flight within these time windows, and share your flight information in your RSVP by July 1 so we can book you a seat on a shuttle.

Arrive at LAX by 1:00pm Pacific Time on Monday, July 29
DEPARTING FLIGHT WINDOW FOR PRAXIS SHUTTLES
Depart from LAX after 5:00pm Pacific Time on Friday, August 2
To claim a seat on the shuttle, simply book in those time windows and submit your travel plans in your RSVP Survey and we will follow up with details on where to find the shuttles once you arrive (this will come via email about 1 week prior to the event).
If you are only attending for a portion of the Academy Week, or need to book your arrival or departing flight outside of those time windows, you will be responsible for your own ground transportation.

MEALS, FOOD ALLERGIES, & DIETARY RESTRICTIONS
Meals are included in your Program during the Academy Week, starting with dinner on Monday and ending with lunch on Friday. In addition, we try to provide beverages and snacks to keep you energized and focused throughout the event. Biola does have a coffee and snack shop with limited hours where you can purchase additional food if you'd like.

We ask that our guests RSVP by filling out the survey below so that we can be sure to prepare for your time with us. Please do so no later than July 1.
VENUE ADDRESS & PARKING
Registration and room check-in is available from 1:00 pm - 3:00pm on Monday July 29. The Opening session begins at 4:00pm, and registration will re-open afterwards. Once you are on campus, there will be signs directing you towards registration and the opening session, located in the Crowell School of Music.

On campus parking is free. Parking is in Structure S, located on University Drive near the soccer field and track. From there, look for signs pointing toward the Crowell School of Music, which is where the Main Session will be.
